Explanation Sunsmart

Sun smart is stuff that you can get for your skin. To keep you safe you have to put on Sunscreen. Some people can die from it by getting cancer and sick. Always put on Sunscreen then your hat. after you finished put a blanket or a towel around you to keep you comfortable. Then just lay down on something nice and warm. Stay out of the sun and go to the shade. Wait there and rest for a little bit. Don’t wrap yourself too tight in the blanket or the towel. Make sure you are all right. Make sure you have everything you need for the sun. Make yourself nice and comfortable. To stay safe in the sun is to go under a umbrella. To get shade go to a place that has heaps of shade. If you are in the sun for too long your skin turns red red and even redder.

Now I am learning about Tinkering Tools and Toys. How to make machines. To teach others you will need the instructions how to make it.

Writing an Introduction: Term 2 2015

Early in the morning would you jump in freezing cold water. Brr that must be freezing, I wouldn't want to start my day in ice cold water. Early in the morning would you jump in cold freezing ice without any cloths on your body.  Only in your Underwear. I don’t think that other people will want to do that early in the morning. I won’t start my day jumping in ice cold water without a Jumper and a T-shirt. This is a really crazy man. well other people were skating.

Explaining My Game

I am going to be explaining what my game is called. The name of my game is called Saving the world. Our task was to make a side scrolling games. We also had to tell the audience what was happening.

My lead Character is a girl and she has to save the world before the enemies destroy the city. My lead character is in the city, If I don’t defeat the enemies then they will destroy the whole world. Our Mission is to take the guards out. Before they take us out.

My Character faces some bad guys with armor, knives, sword and guns. If you defeat one of them then you get 50 points but If you kill two you get 100 points. If they kill you they win and you have to start from the beginning. I win by getting many of them down as quickly as possible.

To jump you push the Spacebar, To shoot you have to push Shift button, To go right and left you have to push the right button and the left button.

My character will be facing a big ogre, wolf’s, Shark’s and a killer whale.

My game fixes the problem by saving the world greatest bird. Thank you for watching my game maybe you can make your own game one day It will be very very hard for you to make. Thank you for playing my game.

Compeer Christchurch To Auckland


Walt: Find comparisons and differences between items and provide proof

This week we had to compare Christchurch to Auckland. We created a presentation to show our ideas. When then created a Padlet with information from the story that proved our ideas. I learnt that Christchurch has colourful buildings because to help make the locals happy and grateful for surviving the earthquake. They also started painting the side of buildings because the art gallery was demolished during the 2010 earthquake. This way, the locals still get to see art from local artists.

Last week we learnt about comparing Christchurch to Auckland. In Auckland only had silver building’s but Christchurch has colourful building’s. Before the Earthquake came the building’s in Christchurch were knocked over and people survived and some people did not. Then they decided to paint the building’s to make it look nice and colourful.

On friday morning we had a assembly about anzac. On anzac day we were celebrating the Soldiers that fighted against the germans that had the wars. when the Soldiers and germans died were they had the war some poppies started growing.They were a bright red, a dark black,a light yellow and a fancy green. Those were the colors that were a part of the Poppies. Poppies are important to us because they remember the people who died for NZ to keep us safe.

So after that when the war had ended people came home and other people were asking where their husbands were they never replied. They carried the Soldiers down from the big boat they came back on. Everyone was staring at the people on the boat. Everyone did not look happy they looked sad. They knew that something had happened to their husbands. The Soldiers buried them because they had died.

When they were in the war they saw a black dog. They trained it. They walked past houses that had been blown by big guns. They walked past died horses.
                                                                                 
 I am proud I have improved that my writing makes sense and I use it in my own words. I will remember the next time I write I will add lot’s of details to my writing. And I will try my best and think really hard. My goal for writing is to make sure it makes sense. Also to make sure that I use speech marks when people are talking in my story and to put it into my own words.
